Had engineer out twice fixed it with a glue but it didn’t last to long advise us on his second visit to buy new cooker we had done well to have the same one for almost 20 years. I didn’t want to part the cooker was perfect and well minded went on google and searched for a glue found the site for glue purchased followed a very simple but detailed instruction the oven door is as good as new and better job than the service man did and a hell of a lot cheaper couldn’t fault only recommend this glue in fact I’m very proud to tell anyone who calls to the house how we saved money and so glad I didn’t rush into buying a new oven. | We dismantled the oven door to solve a non-door-related problem but in so doing lost the capture plates which are essential to secure the screws that fix the door flanges to the oven casing. This was vastly distressing as the oven is old but in good working order. A search online revealed that a possible solution lay in the use of this glue + screws or pop rivets. I posted a query which elicited a response within half an hour, and was also able to speak to Eddie and obtain some advice by telephone. I ordered the glue and it arrived by first class post the next day. We were all set to go for the glue solution but decided to do some further dismantling in the hope of retrieving the very annoying capture plates. This, contrary to our gloomy expectations, came good. We re-captured the capture plates and so the glue was not needed. However, I wanted to put on record my very good experience of dealing with this smart and efficient and user-friendly company. |

| Fantastic Glue! Really, just buy some, you won’t be disappointed. I was gutted when my glass oven door fell off my oven (which is over 16 years old but is the best oven I’ve ever bought ) luckily it didn’t smash. I saw this glue, read the reviews and to be honest I was very sceptical. However, I decided it was worth a try . I emailed Eddie as to how much glue I would need and he got straight back to me and confirmed one tube would be all that was needed. I had the glue a day later. Hubby then followed the instructions as you do need to remove all of the old glue from the glass and hinge brackets.( He also used Utube to see how to remove the hinges from the oven as he’s not a D.I.Y guy ) It was slightly tricky to line up the door with the brackets to glue it , but hubby managed it and after piling a few heavy books on top and leaving it to cure for two days , it’s rock solid. This was back in April and I use my oven most days as I love to bake and do Sunday roasts – over six months later its still holding and my oven is as good as new. Brilliant! |

| Just moved house and the glass door fell off the large oven door of a built-in cooker. Panicked and then found Oven Door Glue. Can’t rate the product or the Company high enough, they were superb. There was a problem with the postal delivery and Eddie stayed in touch and kept checking to see if the glue had arrived. It did, after 1 week!! 6 months down the track and the door is still firmly in place. The glue and the instructions very easy to use. One tip: look on YouTube for instructions on how to remove the oven door from the cooker; really simple! |

| Until our over door fell off I didn’t even know that doors were glued in place!
A quick internet search found this website and some very useful information on how to repair the door. It didn’t look too hard so, rather than pay a lot of cash to someone else to repair the door, I thought I’d give it a try. The glue arrived within 48 hours of ordering. I followed the instructions provided to apply the glue and a couple of days later the glue had fully set and the door was as good as new. Months later it’s still going strong. This is an excellent product sold at a very good price and delivered quickly. It is very easy to use. 100% recommended. |

| I had previously repaired the door with Windscreen adhesive which had held for three years. As it was a thick adhesive it projected the hinge assembly. The thinner Oven glue allowed the door alignment to be corrected, with a substantial saving on the cost of a replacement door. Follow the instructions and the repair works so well. |

| Hinges coming loose on cooker door? No need to scrap the cooker or call out the expensive repair man. Repair is a doddle. A couple of screws to undo to release the hinges and remove the door from the oven. Then the kit has everything you need to remove old adhesive, clean the glass, apply the new adhesive, line it all up. Once hard its a couple of minutes to refit the door, its as good as new and you have saved yourself hundredsof pounds in call out and repair charges. |

Upon fixing I inserted some very small metal angle fixers to enable a better surface area to grip,(they were hidden by the painted finish on the door border.) The glue was received within a couple of days and the instructions were really good. The important thing is to mark the position of the hinges so you glue them back in exactly the right places. If you don’t then the hinges will not lign up with the screw holes or will be stressed when you screw them to the door frame again and may pull off. I used electrical tape to stick beside each hinge before removing it, or tape around the marks where it used to sit if it’s fallen off. Then after cleaning off the old adhesive residue I used alcohol to get the glass and hinge faces really clean, applied the glue, then lined up the hinges with the tape edges, and taped the hinge to keep it in place until the adhesive set. Excellent job and a great product, thanks! |

| I purchased this well put together kit & within 20 mins had the hinge cleaned & repaired (left to cure 24 hrs) – this was 4 months ago & the repair is stil perfect. The original hinge was bonded in the same manner as the repair, therefore if the surfaces are prepared correctly (items included) there is no reason not to expect the repair to last. |

| Lower bracket on Creda oven had began to lift sometime ago. (One of those jobs you (I) seem to keep forgetting to attend to) This meant that you could not open the door fully as it would bind on lower edge. I did a ‘Google’ and found Roz and so I bought the ‘Oven Door Glue Kit.’ Followed instructions, used plastic scissors clamps to hold bracket in place for 24 hours and so far, no complaints. Excellent item and price, especially when you consider what it might cost if you called someone in to do the repair. Highly recommended.

| Remove the door completely from the oven unit. Make sure the area where bonding occurs is thoroughly clean, follow the instructions, and use plenty of the Glue. Leave the complete door glass down on a flat surface for 24 hours, and you finish with well bonded glass door. |

| The plastic(?) on our oven door had become separated on one side from the rest of the door, making opening the oven a rather tricky task (you had to pull one side of the handle while pushing the other side to open the oven door). The glue worked very well to re-glue the plastic to the metal of the door – we don’t have this issue with the door anymore. Excellent product! |

| The metal bottom guides for the inner glass of the main oven door had come unglued. This product was recommended by a neighbour to make the repair. Everything needed was in the kit – scraper to remove old glue, cleaner sachet to ensure glass was grease-free, glue and spatula to apply it.
Glue was easy to apply and after a few minutes glass could be laid flat to allow adhesive to cure. Care is needed not to press the guide to the glass too hard and thus squeeze the glue layer too thin. I used masking tape and marked it with a pencil to locate the position of the metal guide. The guide was ‘U’ shaped and only 2 cm wide so the method in the instructions could not be used easily. Unfortunately, I bought the glue and then didn’t use it for several weeks and when I removed the cap, the short nozzle underneath had been cracked due to the cover being overtightened in the factory and the glue in the nozzle had dried. I had to remove the plunger from the syringe and scrape the glue out with the spatula – successful but a bit messy!! Glue has done an excellent job and survived several months of use, including the high temperature cycle to clean the non stick surfaces. |
