We have a Britannia double oven which is used almost on a daily basis. The front of the door on the small oven began to separate from the glass section and on examination it was clear that the adhesive used in manufacture was clearly substandard. We purchased the oven door glue kit and applied it as per the instructions. Seven months later it is still doing it’s job. No further problems. A great product – the kit came with razor blade scraper which made the repair easy. A really top quality product. |

| Used this glue seven months ago and decided to wait about 6 months before reviewing it. Delivery was prompt, application was easy and the instructions well written. Depending on the construction of your door, some work is required to remove it from the oven and the glass from the frame to access the mating surfaces of the glass carrier and frame. Cleanliness is next to godliness with adhesives, so thoroughly remove the existing adhesive, degrease, clean and dry the surfaces. Apply the adhesive as per instructions and bring the glass frame and door frame together carefully. I applied weights to the joined frames to put a little pressure on the joint to help setting but also to prevent possible movement and thus misalignment. I also used the adhesive to re-secure the rubber sealing strip around the oven frame. So far, all is good, the glass frame remains thoroughly attached to the door frame and the sealing strip remains in place. A very good product, and worth the time to get direct advise from Eddie – like I did – if it is your first time re-fixing the glass. Much cheaper than getting the professionals in to do the same job. Thoroughly recommended. |

| Ordered glue about 6mths ago, put job off a few days, eventually had a go. The most difficult bit was lining up the glass panel. If I had fixed it slightly off it would have been obvious as there is a very thin gap between glass and the glass of 2nd oven. I scratched marks into the back of glass before removing old glue and glad that I did. It made positioning the brackets easier as I managed to clean the old glue away completely. 6mths later and I’m impressed with the glue. No problems, door fixed and I did not expect it to work. |

Kit arrived packed neatly and included the glue (sealant) scraper and alcohol wipe. The most important thing to get right is to clean the surfaces to be joined. The scraper achieves this and the alcohol wipe gets rid of any grease (there is usually a lot of this). The sealant in the syringe makes it very easy to place it as required. I found that lightly clamping the parts together after joining and not disturbing for 24 hours makes for a strong bond. If you have a glass door that is attached in 4 places and 2 have come apart, use the 2 remaining fixings as a location to make sure you reattach the door in the right position. Then use the 2 new attachments as a guide when you replace the remaining 2, It is now 6 months since I repaired my door and I have had no trouble since. |

| I used this to ‘remount the door glass panel on my large oven, which had come unstuck. With this sort of thing you need to allow sufficient time, and by following the instructions to the letter an excellent repair was achieve. There was sufficient glue left to enable me to use on the other oven door which on closer inspection was going to have a similar problem as it was getting loose. This product saved me a small fortune and both oven doors remain in fact. Very happy with this product and glad I found a long term solution that probably without I would have had to consider buying a new cooker, as two doors in excess with delivery Inc,> £300. |

Fantastic stuff. I purchased the oven door glue to repair the glass door on our oven. This involved sticking metal to glass which it did perfectly. Some 10 months later it’s still holding and the door is in daily use.
I also had to replace the rubber door seal. I got a new rubber seal off ebay but I could not get the fiddly little hooks to hold it on. Then I remembered I still had some oven door glue left and a few dabs of that fixed the seal in place perfectly (I used tape to hold the seal in place while the glue set). If I ever have to replace the seal on the other oven I won’t mess about trying to get the hooks to work, I’ll just glue it with this stuff. In short highly recommended. |

I used the kit 9 months ago to reattach the panels; the repair was very easy, following the included instructions. It has been absolutely rock solid; the oven is used 3 or 4 times a week, with no special care taken to be gentle.

| I bought this kit to try to mend our oven door which was coming away from the hinge mechanism. It was good to have everything together in the kit, though a couple of extra wipes would have been handy .. because.. when I first tried, with the door in situ on the oven it unfortunately didn’t work well. Only following a bit of googling on removing the door, was I able to really get at everything, give it a good clean and then perform the repair using proper clamps to keep everything in place. Once I had done so it worked a treat, and is still in great condition. |

tbh its several months since repair using this kit so memory a biy vague, but solution to bracket failure was a couple of small right angle brackets from homebase, which i glued to back of glass door and screwed into frame. brittania woukd have charged over £100 pounds for a new small oven door.. didnt sell broken brackets on their own. a bit of imagination required for a solutio, but i can vouch for the oven door glue, it worksand still holding since repair. saved me z fortune. |

The gloves were a bit of a waste of time…better quality and fitting would have been better…ended up being careful not to get any on my hands and didn’t use them…other than that, perfect! Stuck my seal together, even held a “stretch” in the seal and still looking good 12 months later – very happy as Christmas dinner would have been a disaster without it!! |

| It’s rather messy to do, and it’s difficult to stop the strip from retracting (as it often needs to be under tension to reach the four corners). Best to do a practice run before applying the glue with strong tape to make sure the rubber will actually be held in place while the curing is performed. Make sure you have pre-cut strips of tape handy as the glue would otherwise get on the scissors / knife. Still holding up well 6 months later, and saved a considerable amount on the cost of a replacement seal. |

I have now used this glue twice: First to glue the inner glass back in place on the main oven. Second time to glue the metal clamp that holds the glass in place on the smaller oven as the bolt had fractured. Both jobs were successful and have saved me lots of money as I thought I’d have to buy new doors. Useful to have the video link about how to get the oven door off as I had no idea. It was really easy too, once I knew! |

| Thanks for dispatching your oven door glue kit – following our telephone conversation last Friday 5th July, I received the kit the nexy day, following your easy to follow instruction sheet the bottom brackets were affixed to my “Britania” oven door, I did leave fixing the door back to the cooker a little longer than recommended about 36hrs – all back and working, Britania wanted over £200 + vat + delivery your kit gave a net saving of well over £250.00 & more importantly not having to wait in for a delivery. |

| Product cannot be faulted. My wife had sprained the oven door brackets which had to be removed from the door to be straightened. I did this and glued them back on using the oven door glue kit. It was excellent and did the job perfectly. If you are doing this, mark the positions of the brackets before removing them. Accuracy is paramount. |
