| Parts for our Zanussi oven are obsolete. I decided to try and repair the inner glass. Turns out it’s really easy. Follow the instructions and you won’t have any problems. Easy to use and worked really well. Happy to recommend. Only thing I would say is that I probably could’ve done with 2 tubes, it was a close towards the end. |

| I priced a replacement glass door for my Dad’s Zanussi double oven, which he broke while cleaning. It was an obsolete model , but could be ordered at a cost of 160 euros. As most glass doors are the same size, I got a spare door from a scrapped oven, of a different brand. I cut off the hinge and mounting brackets from the spare glass door, with a Stanley knife blade, and used the Oven Door Glue Kit, to attach the Zanussi hinges and door mountings to the spare glass. It looks as good as new and I only had to pay for the oven glue, and I still have half a tube left. I can’t recommend it highly enough. |

| Gutted when outer glass door panel fell off main oven thinking I was in for a major expense to replace the oven, but so glad I came across this website! The help, advice and service is truly second to none! After a couple of emails, which were swifty answered with excellent help and advice I ordered the kit, which promptly arrived the next day, with everything needed to fully complete the repair with clear, easy to follow instructions. Allowed to dry overnight and the oven was back in operation good as new and has been working no problem ever since, which was many months ago! | This is a really great product. I used it a year ago and the glass of my oven door is still firmly in place. It came unstuck because the thermometer of my oven broke causing it to become extremely hot. In turn, the glass around the door became unstuck because of the high heat. After replacing the thermometer, I used the oven glue to restick the glass to the oven door. It is still going strong. Highly recommended oven glue. Saved me hundreds of pounds on a new Oven! |

| Repair kit arrived very quickly, and the instructions were comprehensive and easy to follow.
The actual repair (after thoroughly cleaning all the dissembled door components) was very easy and has been completely successful (now over 6 months have passed). However beware – unless your door glass is unusually small – you WILL need an extra tube of silicon adhesive – I nearly ran out and I did have a second tube! I think perhaps that there should be double the adhesive quantity as standard. All in all, thoroughly recommended! |

| If I’m honest, I was sceptical. It was either an expensive new oven door or I have a try with this oven glue kit. I chose the latter, thinking I wouldn’t lose much by trying it. Easy to use…. And because it was so easy it made me more sceptical!! I was expecting to use the oven once and the glue would melt or damage my oven. How wrong I was! A year or so down the line and the seal on my oven door is still in place and the oven is keeping its heat. BRILLIANT STUFF. Apologies for being so negative before I tried it!!! |

I looked for help and found that I could get the glass cut to size by a specialist producer in Toulouse and the glue could come from the UK. | After a bit of over enthusiastic cleaning the glass bit of my oven door fell ‘in’. After a bit of research I ordered a repair kit from these guys. It arrived quickly and came with everything I needed. The biggest issue was getting at the inner area to reattach the glass, once done though the door was as good as new.

| Cracking product, extremely easy to use with very clear and concise instructions. The outer metal fascia surround had come off the door, as well as the inner glass falling right off so the door had to be totally disassembled to be repaired. In my purchase confirmation email there was a link to You Tube with a video showing how to remove the door, very helpful as it is not easy to work out how to release the brackets. Followed the instructions and I had the door repaired and left to dry within half an hour. I left it lying flat to bond, with something heavy to hold the glass in place, for the required amount of time and reassembled. That was 6 months ago and there is no way that glass or fascia is moving. This has saved me at least £90 and I will definitely use again if I have to. |

In summary, we believe that we offer a very high quality adhesive, at an excellent price, in quantities that will do whatever job is needed, without customers having to pay for more than they need, and packaged in a way that means convenient letterbox delivery at the most reasonable postage cost. Now the detail! The tube size is something that we gave very careful thought to, when designing the kit. The first problem is that a larger tube, with more adhesive would inevitably cost more, and all customers would therefore need to pay more, even if they only needed a small amount of glue. Many customers use the glue for gluing brackets, or an oven seal, and only require a small amount. The single tube is ample for these tasks. Where gluing around the full perimeter of the glass (normally the inner glass), the amount needed depends on several factors, primarily the size of the glass – we give advice on the quantity needed HERE. The inner glass size can vary considerably, depending on whether the oven is a double oven or single oven, if double the small oven or the large and in all cases whether the oven is a narrow fit oven or standard. So again, for some, a single tube is all that is needed, and all that needs to be paid for, whereas for others an extra tube may be needed, as detailed in the guidance. We offer the extra tube for just £3.00. If we offered a larger tube, we might not be able to package it so as to fit through a customers letterbox – potentially causing delays in delivery. Also we would have to send the package as a “small Parcel” postage rate, which is a significant step up in cost. Finally, because this is a specialist adhesive, it has a limited shelf life – we recommend use within 90 days of receipt (and the major reason that you cannot buy this in the shops), all glue leaves us freshly packaged. So it is not something you would want “extra” to keep on the shelf for the future, should you need it. |

The video we produced to show how most drop down oven doors can be easily removed can be seen on this page: How to remove oven door , it covers four of the most common types of door hinge used. If for any reason the hinge on your drop down door does not appear to be the similar to one in the video, customers are welcome to take a photograph of the hinge (one from above, and one from the side), and email it to us, and where it is possible, we will give advice on how the door may be removed with that hinge type. Below the video is a section on removing the fascia glass, so that you can access the inner glass. Once you know what to look for, removing most doors, and taking off the fascia is a 5 minute task and does make the gluing so much easier. |

| The glue worked, however, you MUST, MUST, MUST READ the instructions CLEAR the decks so that you can lay all the components flat and close to hand. PROTECT where you are working CLEAN the glue line thoroughly. All the old baked on food must come off the metal AND the glass CLEAN the INSIDE SURFACES of BOTH glass panes, because you cannot clean them afterwards!! HAVE a place READY, where you can leave the glued door flat for the prescribed amount of time (I think 24 hours) HAVE some kitchen roll handy BECAUSE there is no application “gun” for accurate control, the tube and its contents should be 30%-50% larger |

| We are pretty much clueless when it comes to DIY stuff but when the interior glass finally completely dropped out of the door of our oven we decided to give the oven door glue a go since it was cheaper than a new door. We were certainly surprised at how well it worked – it was a bit finicky as we had to get the glue on pretty quick before it set and it is a bit messy but I suspect that is more our fault than the product! We needed to tubes to do the entire thing.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone one who needs a cheap fix. Six-seven months on and its still working absolutely fine. |

I glued the glass on the inner door of our oven and would recommend that you buy two tubes of the adhesive for a similar sized repair. Apart from that, just follow the detailed instructions and success is guaranteed. Superb product and superb service. Highly recommended. |

| We have had our Zanussi oven for about 16 years and the glass had come unstuck once before about 5 years ago. I bought some heat resistant glue the last time and repaired it, but couldn’t find what I had used previously when the glass came unstuck again in May this year. No problem though as I found the Oven Door Glue Kit. Its easy to use. Just follow the instructions sent with it. It stuck the glass back on and 7 months later its still fine. What else can I say? It wasn’t just the door seal coming loose but it seemed to have somehow shrunk as well, leaving a gap of 8 mm in the middle at the top (note to Zanussi – how about making the join at the bottom?). Stuck the loose bits then filled the gap and trimmed it to match the profile. 7 months later, still a perfect seal. Make that 6 stars! |

| Had some reservations initially as to how effective oven door glue would be but as alternative was a replacement oven I decided to give it a try and it was a great success. You get all you need in the kit including scraper, de-greasing wipe, protective gloves and clear set of instructions. However glue dispenser only holds a small amount so if doing large glass oven window you’ll need at least two dispensers. Removed oven door, placed horizontal on a work surface, cleaned and scraped off old glue and then degreased. Also did the same for the glass window and once cleaned placed it over the oven door aperture and used as a template for width of glue bead around the glass edge, then lifted glass window off, placed to one side and ran glue bead around oven door aperture, then carefully lower glass window glue bead side onto glue bead around oven door aperture and leave to set overnight. It’s now been used regularly for over 6 months and hasn’t shown signs of moving. |

| Excellent instructions which, with the addition of the video made the job very straightforward. The scraper was invaluable for cleaning the glass afterwards. All told, a highly successful and worthwhile purchase which not only saved me the cost of a new door but a new oven. Zanussi’s less than efficient service agent took over a week to tell us that the door for a ZDA45 was no longer available. A subsequent enquiry has led us to believe this was untrue. Anyway, the design of this particular door was guaranteed to fail as there are no retaining clips so the adhesive has to do the job entirely – utterly useless so gold stars for the glue all round. The advice about needing a second tube was spot on and all I would add is to cut the nozzle reasonably wide as this material is quite hard to extrude and you only have a limited time before it starts to go off. Don’t waste time worrying if you get a little on the glass as you can easily scrape it off later. The important thing is to get the glass in position as soon as possible. | I bought this back in October 2011. To make it easier to use I would suggest, if you can, using a marker pen to mark the track of the old adhesive on the outside of the glass and then make sure the surface is clean before applying the glue following the line. Don’t forget, it will spread under pressure when you place the glass onto the frame. I would suggest a line of about 3-4mm (less than 1/4inch). This glue really works well and I’ve not had any problems with it, in fact I used what I had left over to repair a crack in the sole of my “Totector” shoe (these soles are not repairable according to “Totector” 😉 ) and that was back in October too, still going strong. | Shock-Horror – – the interior glass panel adhesive died, and the panel just dropped off when I opened the oven! Guess who’s fault THAT was!
With help from super video describing the process for taking off the entire door, it was a doddle to glue the panel back in place. This was some months agoi now and have had no problems whatsoever, just like new – in fact better, as I was able to have a really super efficient clean up of both sides of the door panels before replacing the loose interior. |

TIPS : Check out the many videos online of how different doors are removed and replaced before doing anything. Take your time. Even take cell phone pics to help you reassemble the door. I hadn’t realised it had been glued on (albeit with industrial type solvent) – presumed it had been screwed on as per our other cooker. As per the other posters, if you have a glass panel to reglue on your door – then do contact the supplier direct and purchase an extra tube of glue – then you can use this fantastic little kit to glue the glass back in. | It was pretty easy to remove the door of my oven, so I took it off and did the cleaning and scraping on the kitchen table, which meant I could leave the glue to set overnight with the glass held in position by its own weight. All very simple, preparation was the longest job and took about an hour. The silicone is easy to apply, the scraper very handy. Three weeks later it’s still well stuck in place! |

| Reglued the glass panel back onto the inside of the door. Here’s a tip: remove and dismantle the door, use the kit, it has everything you need, and weight the glass with something heavy for 24 hours. Works perfectly and a great value solution to an awkward problem. |

| The inner glass of our new(ish) oven fell out while cleaning. A quick look online showed this is a common problem and i quickly discovered this kit for sale. The instructions were most helpful- without them i may have been tempted to apply over the old sealant which would have been disastrous. The alcohol wipes are essential to ensure clean surfaces for bonding and for cleaning hands if you choose not to use the provided gloves! Luckily, the Zanussi door can be taken completely apart allowing ideal preparation. The applicator also contains just the right amount of sealant. 24 hours after bonding (and 2 days after ordering), the oven is back in working order. Also, i now have a new scraper to use for cleaning the ceramic hob. |
