ovendoorglue: Please note that many people will only need the standard kit with a single tube of adhesive to repair their oven. If simply gluing brackets to the glass (typically the front fascia glass is held in this way) a single tube will be sufficient. If gluing the inner glass panel, this is usually glued around the full perimeter of the glass, in which case the quantity needed depends primarily on the size of the glass. We have provided further guidance for when gluing around the full perimeter of the glass in the advice page. If you require an extra tube of adhesive, this can be obtained at the same time as the kit for only £3.00 extra (use the drop down box on the item page to make your selection). You are welcome to purchase the extra tube on a use 2nd tube or return within 14 days for £3.00 refund basis. That way we can help you be sure to get the job done, without the risk of unnecessary cost. |

The seal on my stainless steel and glass door gave way, making the oven unusable. Other than replacing the oven (door not available separately) the only option was to reseal the glass to the door frame.
After a bit of research online the Over Door Glue kit seemed the best reviewed and offered good value. The kit came with everything you needed and although the instructions cover most doors mine was slightly different and took a while for me to separate the parts. The glue is easy to apply but I would recommend getting two tubes rather than the one to make sure that you do not run out half way through. I decided I would so ordered another and I was right! Excellent product and customer service, would recommend and would buy again. Over six months has passed, the seal is perfect and like new. |

The oven door glue kit was a fantastic purchase. It arrived very quickly and was very easy to use. This glue is amazing, We stuck our glass door on with it months ago and it is still in place. It is solid. I have been using my oven daily with no problems. The glue is easy to use (just follow the instructions). Leave to dry and away you go. This glue saved us the expense of a new oven door or worse still a new oven. I would highly recommend this product. It is brilliant. |

I bought the kit to repair the inner glass of the larger door on my double oven which had become loose. I have not done such a repair before but by following the instructions I was able to do a good job which has needed no further attention. It is worth checking properly to determine how much adhesive is needed as a job like this cannot be left half done while an extra tube is ordered and finished later; also an unopened tube does not remain usable for many weeks so it is not worth over ordering for possible future repairs. I found the manufacturer’s estimate of coverage to be quite accurate. The other door on the oven is now starting to become loose and will certainly be buying another repair kit from this site. |

I forgot I had stuck the internal glass back on the door of my oven until I was asked for this review about 4 months later. It was easy to do and obviously very successful otherwise I would have forgotten |

ovendoorglue: Time flies Tracey, it was August 2012 that you purchased the glue, so more than 6 months ago! We know from many of our customers that have tried other glues first, that they often fail after a week or so – so we allow plenty of time before asking for a review. We are confident that the glue we provide will give a lasting repair when used to refix oven glass or seals. Where the glue is to be used for another purpose, we recommend that you contact us on the freephone number for an honest appraisal of the likely success. |

The glass inset panel on the inside of the oven door fell out. This kit is brilliant and such good value. It has everything you need. The scrapper removed the old glue, the wipe gives a clean contact and the glue is easy to apply and the oven was working again within 24 hours. Does what is says on the tin! Very impressed and highly recommended. |

I was cleaning the top oven door’s inner glass when the glue that holds it in the door failed round three sides and it “hinged” down into the door itself. I took the door apart and clearly it needed heatproof glue. I left the old glue/sealer in place and spread “Oven Door Glue” on the old seal’s surface, where it had come unstuck, pressed the glass firmly in place, and left it weighted down while the glue dried. The oven has been used a few times since with no problem. It seems to be totally successful. I am extremely pleased with it! |

The inner glass lining of our oven door was detaching. I did an internet search for ‘heat resistant adhesive’ and found this website. The product arrived the next day. It is easy to use and I have been extremely satisfied with the results. I highly recommend this product |

I bought 2 kits as had to repair both external glass and internal window of door. Found the kit very easy to use and it has given me back an oven that i thought I would have to replace. One word of warning – make sure the blade in the scraper is properly locked in place as blade is exceptionally sharp. The door was back in use withing 24 hrs. Thanks |
