| I inherited an old oven and when the glass inset panel became loose I really had no idea that it was possible to re seal it myself ! But the instructions with this oven glue are so clear and comprehensive and the company so professional ( they go to great lengths to ensure that you will succeed , I found the video invaluable as you do have to take out the glass panel from the door itself ) that succeed I did and so far so goog ! I am a 65 year old woman and I was so delighted when I found this product. One tube was enough to provide a good seal on my glass panel. I was surprised how heavy the oven door was when detached and drafted in my husband but apart from that, I did it all myself ! Protect your surface well, allow plenty of space to do the job and organise yourself as your handiwork will take time to dry and you can do it ! I think this product and the company that supplies it are second to none : it arrived promptly, well packaged; so refreshing to discover a genuine company that goes to such lengths to help people. The kit had everything I needed including clear instructions and a very sharp scraper for taking the old glue off. Make sure you use a quiet well ventilated spot to work on as you’ll need to leave the door glue to set for at least overnight. But overall it was a fairly straightforward process to glue the door back together and I would recommend this website and this glue! |

| Over a year ago, I was cleaning my oven door with a slight abrasive product, when with only a small ammount of effort I pushed my internal glass loose! With a little investigation I found that the original glue had perished. I ordered from this site and it was delivered promptly. Unfortunately my model of oven has a slight ‘trench’ where the original glue sat, so i maybe needed to order two tubes to fill fully. The single tube was only just enough to perform the task. But overall works well, good instructions too. Recommend. |

One of the corners of my oven door seal had come away from the oven edge, the metal corner insert had also fallen out so that the corner piece was flopping down. I inserted a small screw through the rubber to the whole to anchor the corner but the oven glue re-stuck the seal all the way round perfectly. The product worked fine but you do need at least two tubes as advised. This is because the window opening edge is curved forming a sort of trench, therefore you need sufficient to make good contact with the glass. |

The high temperature adhesive is perfectly suited to this task but the quantity supplied in a single tube may be insufficient for larger pieces of glass, we suggest larger than 1200mm circumference, (or if there is a recess to be filled). Problem – the inside of glass door came away and was flapping (A common problem with my Moffat MSF615). tip – to remove the oven door – lift the two catches up on hing then shut the door and pull away. I then dismantled the oven door and removed the old rubber seal. Clean well, apply oven door glue and let it set overnight – job done. Very pleased with product and quick delivery and saved me £££s.
