Great product that did the job. Bought a house where oven worked fine but door glass had come away from the bracket – this product fixed it and was easy to do with full instructions and cheap price.
Was slightly dubious as to how long the fix would last but has lasted about 10 months so far with no issues. Highly recommend. |

Needed to reglue the glass front on my mother in law’s oven. Kit was great price but I was dubious about needing more than one tube to complete the repair.
Used just the single tub in the kit to squeeze a thin bead around the glass and hey presto, solid as a rock. I did this back in Sept-15 and it’s looking good. Definitely recommend this product and seller, delivery was spot on |

| The rubber seal on our oven had come loose and we were debating changing the whole thing – it was 10 years old – but were moving house and didn’t want the expense. Found the sealant online and decided to give it a go. Followed the instructions to the letter and got fantastic results, the oven sealed and was actually more efficient. Despite fitting a new rubber oven door seal, it still sagged at the bottom and wouldn’t stay in position when the door was closed. The glue has sorted this problem completely. Must admit I had my doubts to begin with due to high oven temperatures. 8 months later and the glue has held fast. In fact, I’ve forgotten all about what was an ill fitting door seal. |

What a brilliant product! I needed a heat resistant glue to stick the brushed steel decorative finish back onto the oven door glass. The trim lifted after a few years and looked very tatty. I recently moved in to my new home and the oven (a Diplomat, apparently this is a brand??) that was fitted in the kitchen had the oven door completely detached from the glass panel
I straightened the metal brackets, v thoroughly cleaned the glass and hinges before applying the glue. 6 months down the line and still attached perfectly. My only problem was having to be extremely careful with alignment. Obviously nothing related to the glue itself, just you need to me v careful as mine required correct bracket positioning with 2mm or so. |

| ovendoorglue: The time required for the adhesive to cure and obtain full strength does vary depending on the thickness of the adhesive bead used. With a standard bead we would expect the strength to be such that the item could be moved after about 8 hours, but that it would be best not to use the oven for a further 16 hours (24 hours in total). This is because the adhesive uses moisture ordinarily present in the atmosphere to cure. It cures from the outside of the bead, where the air is in contact with the adhesive, inwards. Applying heat to the adhesive, through the use of the oven, too soon, would drive any moisture away. But a total of 24 hours after applying the adhesive should be fine. There is obviously no harm in leaving longer if you want. |

The instructions were easy to use, and the smell that was described in instructions whilst glue was curing wasn’t as bad as I thought. ovendoorglue: In the instructions we do advise that there will be a vinegar smell whilst the adhesive is curing. The smell will disappear completely once the adhesive has cured, we recommend allowing 24 hours for the adhesive to cure fully before using the oven. The adhesive, once cured, is odourless and will not taint food etc. |
