It is difficult to be certain as to what may have been the issue, but it sounds as though the enamel itself may not have been soundly attached, and the enamel that the glue was attached to came away. Enamel is glass based and the glue whilst adhering well to glass does not affect it. |

Repaired the oven door about 9 months ago. The glue has worked perfectly – not a sign of coming away. Instructions were good – you need to be very careful to locate hinge in its original position (Once glass is clean there are no marks to show where it should go) I made a card template to exactly locate hinge position. This is the trickiest and most important part of the job! |

I had to attach a new handle to the door of my new cannon gas oven as they only come hinged on the left hand side (!) and in the layout of my kitchen that meant that the original handle fouled an adjoining cupboard and prevented me opening the door. The glue worked a treat, and it was refreshing to find that the ‘pack’ that came with it provided everything you needed to make its application easy. A lifer saver, and well worth the money |

| I broke the little plastic clips on the bottom of my oven door that holds the glass in, I nearly fainted with shock when I realised how much a new door would cost. I looked online for oven glue on the off chance there was such a thing and found this product. To be honest I didn’t think it would work, but it was so cheap I decidedc to give it a try. I was really thrilled with the results because it worked perfectly. The only downside is I now can’t remove the glass to clean on the inside because it’s firmly glued in, but that’s my own fault and minor compared to the fact I didn’t have to buy a whole new oven door. I thoroughly recommend this product. |

If simply gluing brackets to the glass (typically the front fascia glass is held in this way) a single tube will be sufficient. If gluing the inner glass panel, this is usually glued around the full perimeter of the glass, in which case the quantity needed depends primarily on the size of the glass. We have provided further guidance for when gluing around the full perimeter of the glass in the advice page. | Ordered Oven Door glue back in April 2015. I used to repair a seal that had gone faulty, it was only to be a temporary repair, however, it has worked so well that I never bothered replacing it. The oven is a fan oven so there is a bit more pressure than you would have on the seal in a non-fan oven. |

| ovendoorglue: Please note that whilst the kit was primarily intended for gluing the brackets onto the glass – brackets typically glue to the glass then screw to the oven door to hold the glass in place on many ovens, we have noted that many customers are using the high strength adhesive to glue the glass directly to the door where this is the original method of fixing. The high temperature adhesive is perfectly suited to this task but the quantity supplied in a single tube may be insufficient for larger pieces of glass, we suggest larger than 1200mm circumference, (or if there is a recess to be filled). We have provided further guidance for when gluing around the full perimeter of the glass in the advice page advice page, and have now added the option of purchasing an extra tube of adhesive at the same time as the kit for only £3.00 (use the drop down box on the item page to make your selection). You are welcome to purchase the extra tube on a use 2nd tube or return within 14 days for £3.00 refund basis. That way we can help you be sure to get the job done, without the risk of unnecessary cost. |

this is very easy to use and everthing you need is in the kit. fast postage and great price. I needed to fix top oven glass door to metal fixings , I removed the door , followed instructions, balanced full bottles of pop on the door which i had laid down flat , left 24 hours before using. Stuck like a treat , great stuff and plenty left incase other door becomes loose |
