Excellent product. DOES WHAT IT SAYS !!! Permanent repair. TIP.Fully remove the old glue Hinges must go back in EXACTLY the same place.(make a template) Leave to set for 24hrs.

Absolutely right kit for the job! With a little patience and time, using ALL the components in the kit with care and attention, does the complete job in about 20 minutes. This was an OLD cooker! inside glass on oven door came loose,we purchased 1 tube of glue ,it worked wonders ,it was more cost effective than a new oven door many thanks would recomend others to try this first

ovendoorglue: Please note that whilst the kit was primarily intended for gluing the brackets onto the glass – brackets typically glue to the glass then screw to the oven door to hold the glass in place on many ovens, we have noted that many customers are using the high strength adhesive to glue the glass directly to the door where this is the original method of fixing. The high temperature adhesive is perfectly suited to this task but the quantity supplied in a single tube may be insufficient for larger pieces of glass, we suggest larger than 1200mm circumference, (or if there is a recess to be filled). If you would like guidance, or require a second tube to be supplied at the same time as the original kit for only £3.00 extra, on a use 2nd tube or return within 14 days for £3.00 refund basis, please contact us directly on 0800-4101222 or use the contact Oven Door Glue form on our Contact Details page, before you make your purchase. This kit is fantastic, I used it to fix the rubber seal on the over door in a rental property - possibly saving me my security deposit. It is easy to apply, comes with clear instructions and I would highly recommend it.

ovendoorglue: We should point out that we recommend that at least 8 hours are allowed for the adhesive to cure before it is subject to any stress, and ideally 24 hours before the adhesive is exposed to heat. This is because the adhesive cures using moisture naturally present in the air, and it cures from the outside of the edge of adhesive, inwards. If the adhesive has not fully cured before applying heat, the heat will dry any moisture. Full instructions are provided in the kit.
