The glass on my oven door fell in, and I thought the oven was scrap, however I found this glue on the internet and ordered it. I had low expectations, but not only did it arrive quickly, but it actually worked. Six months on of daily use and all still ok - This really does work !!

I ordered the glue back in October 2011 to repair the inner glass on our oven which suddenly dropped out one day!! It's been 4 months now and is still working a treat. After reading previous reviews I ordered 2 tubes and I would recommend you do the same if you are wanting it for an over door. I am very happy with the end result.

ovendoorglue: Please note that whilst the kit was primarily intended for gluing the brackets onto the glass – brackets typically glue to the glass then screw to the oven door to hold the glass in place on many ovens, we have noted that many customers are using the high strength adhesive to glue the glass directly to the door where this is the original method of fixing. The high temperature adhesive is perfectly suited to this task but the quantity supplied in a single tube may be insufficient for larger pieces of glass, we suggest larger than 1200mm circumference, (or if there is a recess to be filled). We have provided further guidance for when gluing around the full perimeter of the glass in the advice page advice page, and have now added the option of purchasing an extra tube of adhesive at the same time as the kit for only £3.00 (use the drop down box on the item page to make your selection). You are welcome to purchase the extra tube on a use 2nd tube or return within 14 days for £3.00 refund basis. That way we can help you be sure to get the job done, without the risk of unnecessary cost. With regards to supporting the glass, it is best to remove the oven door to carry out the repair - We have prepared a video that shows how to Remove and refit the Oven Door for most ovens.

This has been one of my best buys!! Just follow the instructions that they provide! My recommendation is to use the cleaning tissue on all surfaces and make sure there is no residue grub left (from the old glue). The cleaner the better, the longer the joy of a great fix. It's been 4 months now and I'm still impressed. THis is the stuff you need to fix glass oven door hinges come off. Chapeau !!

I used the glue to repair the break in the door seal. I made a wire clip to fit inside the hollow part of the seal so that the join was held firmly in place until the glue set . Excellent product and service.

Noticed oven door contained condensation and a week or two later noticed the oven door leaking a lot of water (which was the condensation). Found that I could buy a new oven door for £100 or buy new sealent for less than £10. Contacted Ed to buy the sealent as thought it would be best to buy two tubes, just in case. Used all of the two tubes and would recommend buying an extra tube for only £3. Oven door no longer contains condensation which means I am no longer mr grumpy. Thanks to Ed :-) Very good service and very good product -

I purchased the Oven door Glue kit after the rubber on the inside of my oven came loose and I was unable to shut the door properly. It came in a kit with everything I needed including full instructions, which I found easy to follow and was able to fix the rubber again in no time. This was several months ago and the product is still working fine as I speak. I would definitely recommend this product, as it does a great job at a great price and saves on the expense of high cost repairs or having to fork out for a new oven.

Fantastic product. Thought I would have to buy a new oven or at least a new oven door (which looked compicated to fit). Found this glue after a quick search and figured it was worth trying (I wasn't convinced it would work). I bought 2 tubes as recommended in the reviews, found the instructions very easy to follow and 4 months down the line it's still working. I'm very pleased and would strongly recommend it to anyone with the same problem.

Brilliant! After months of use the glass that had previously come away from the door has remained firmly sealed. This save me a fortune I would have had to spend on professional repair or a new oven.

I was considering buying a new cooker after the glass became very loose. Belling had told me they could not supply a new door as as it was discontinued & advised against glueing the glass back onto the door. Nontheless, I found & tried Oven Door Glue. Several months later, the glass is still securely bonded. Just follow the simple instructions & be sure to line up the hinges exactly. Thank goodness I did not need to replace an otherwise perfectly good built-in cooker & matching hob. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent kit very easy to use, I would recommend buying 2 kits if gluing the oven door glass back on because the amount of glue supplied per kit is marginal and I would have prefered a larger bead of glue around the glass, but after saying that I glued the glass on 4 months ago and it is still 100% sealed

We were on the verge of replacing our oven as the glass on the door had started to come loose. After looking at various websites we found this kit and it worked perfectly. Its easy to use, and a very cost effective way of repairing the oven. Would recommend the product and seller fully, it saved us the cost of a replacing the oven.
