| This little kit saved me over £100.00 on a new oven door. Clear instructions and the right glue made a brilliant solid job of the repair. Take your time dismantling, and clean the job really well (a cleaning tool came with the kit) before glueing it up and you won't have any problems. |

| great kit containing everything needed as well as simple instructions. this was a great purchase for me (saved me buying a new oven!) and at such a low cost its well worth the money. The inner glass from my oven completly detatched from the oven door. with this glue i was able to stick it back into its original place and continue to be able to use my oven as normal. |

| I used this glue to repair my hair straighteners which are set at 230 degrees. The ceramic plate had come loose but the electric wiring was still in tact. I glued the ceramic plate back in place easily, with no mess. The applicator the glue comes in is small making it easy to apply. The oven door glue has worked amazingly and saved me from having to pay out for a new pair of straighteners! I could not find any other product which would withstand high temperatures. Thank you Oven Door Glue!! |

| This came promptly. Packaged well with good instuctions. It was really easy too do and the glass stuck perfectly and has remained there ever since (about 4 months). Fab item, neat finish, no odour (that I recall!). Saved me buying a new oven. Would recommend. |

| Glass door had come unstuck and kept slipping down, became a pain tried sticking fittings with various glues, waste of time. found this glue pack on internet, bit tricky getting the fittings in exactly the right place but worth it the glue pack worked wonders still there saved getting engineers to do it, would cost an arm and leg. |

If a glue is too rigid, the join will break as the metal and glass expand when they heat up. Some inferior adhesives may start flexible, but will soon harden if they are pushed regularly to their maximum temperature, and the repair will quickly fail. The oven door glue can withstand a constant temperature of 300 C without any noticeable loss of its properties - ensuring a lasting repair. |

| ovendoorglue: Please note that whilst the kit was primarily intended for gluing the brackets onto the glass – brackets typically glue to the glass then screw to the oven door to hold the glass in place on many ovens, we have noted that many customers are using the high strength adhesive to glue the glass directly to the door where this is the original method of fixing. The high temperature adhesive is perfectly suited to this task but the quantity supplied in a single tube may be insufficient for larger pieces of glass, we suggest larger than 1200mm circumference, (or if there is a recess to be filled). We have provided further guidance for when gluing around the full perimeter of the glass in the advice page advice page, and have now added the option of purchasing an extra tube of adhesive at the same time as the kit for only £3.00 (use the drop down box on the item page to make your selection). You are welcome to purchase the extra tube on a use 2nd tube or return within 14 days for £3.00 refund basis. | I purchased this for my dad, who was all for buying a new oven. I found this product and thought it would be worth a try before he went ahead. What can I say? Its a brilliant product which has stuck the door seal back and made the oven far more efficient to use. The door seal has remained firmly stuck after 4 months of daily use. It was easy to use with clear instructions and no mess. My dad and I are happy to highly recommend this product!! |

| The recess of the bakelite door knob on my old Hunter wood burning stove had deteriorated, so knob was slipping on the knurled nut. It became impossible to lock the stove door securely. Even though the oven door glue did not specify usage for this problem, I gave the oven door glue a try since I had nothing else to lose - the manufacturer no longer made this sort of door knob for their newer stoves. I could not find any other sufficiently heat resistant adhesive. It successfully glued the bakelite doorknob back on to the door catch mechanism. So far, so good. Wonderful stuff! |

Provided the area on the stove in which the adhesive is used does not exceed 300 degrees centigrade, the adhesive will work well, bonding glass, metal and in this case bakelite. However please be aware that some parts of wood burning stoves (the firebox for example), temperatures reached can be far higher than those achieved in domestic ovens. Above 300 degrees centigrade the properties of the adhesive may be impacted upon |
