Great ‘kit’ i.e. ‘everything’ you need, even a scraper, Really good glue, so far so good anyway. I thought I may not have enough in one tube when I saw it, but I even had a little spare. A good tip is ‘clean, clean, clean! No glue, not even one as good as this one will stick to a non clean surface! Another tip…. don’t be a scrooge and use as much glue as is needed, and then some as insurance, but watch out it doesn’t spill out from the sides! First class postage and packaging service too, makes this purchase 1st Class for me, and I give it a well deserved 5 stars!

The kit was fantastic and arrived next day, it had all the correct equipment and instructions to complete the job. The blade supplied to clean off the old glue from the glass was handy, I ended up using an angle grinder on the metal hinge and plate to remobe old glue and paint. All surfaces were cleaned as per instructions supplied and I used a marker pen to mark round the position. Glue was applied and then used plastic clamps to hold firm till the glue went off – I left for a full 24 hours. Just need to get it onto the oven and heat up gently to make sure all is well

Excellent kit. I took the oven door off to make life easier, and spent some time cleaning the parts to be glued. I guess time will tell, but I’m confident that it will last. Quick delivery and good customer service too! Many thanks.

Having looked for some high temperature glue to stick caliper covers to my car, this product is of higher quality than ‘the rest’. Having previously used the product to repair my oven, I tried it on the car and can recommend it! – a new market for the product!

The problem was that the glass outer part of the door was hanging off. Naturally I got onto the internet to find a solution – and I got it. My mate the Certified Engineer (he’ll have you know) took the whole thing apart and used the glue to reattach the glass outer. 24 Hours later it was OK to use. It looks as if it might do another five years. You really need someone who is handy with the tools to get a painfree experience.

Found preperation is the key to getting a good result. This glue is awesome, Ariston ovens seem to suffer from the outer glass falling off the door and it is only held on with two small pads which need a good adhesive. The adhesive was sent to me within 24 hours and I have to say this is fastest delivery I have had from an internet based firm ever.

This kit is extremely easy to use. it comes with a scraper which is ideal to remove the old glue completely which is important. Finally a wipe with the enclosed alcohol wipe makes the surface chemically clean. The glue itself is easy to use, just push the syringe to apply the glue to the hinge, about 2mm thickness, lower the glass door onto the hinge and add some weight. i left in situ on the dining table for 24 hrs as recommended and its a perfect repair. Wifey very impresses with me as i am of the kit. recommended buy, fantastic price too. much cheaper than a new door. by the way the local repair shop wanted to charge me £20 to repair the door so you can appreciate its an excellent saving.

Re-attached the glass pane to my oven earlier this week and so far so good. The adhesive bond appears to be very effective – the door definitely resists twisting better. I bought two kits as a precaustion but one was more than adequate – I’m going to try re-attaching a seal as per Mr Graingers experience. In my case, the glass was attached to the metal door frame by the sealant/ adhesive which also surrounded (about 5mm wide) the perimeter of the glass thereby centering it in the apeture. I retained this surround by careful use of the scraper. If I had removed it the quantity of adhesive provided in the kit would not be sufficient to replace it. My only minor criticism would be the scraper; the instructions are written in black on a black background – hey, what is this, some kind of galactic hyper hearse?

First about the company: Fantastic product and super quick delivery – next day. Now the product: Make sure you read the instructions well, scrape off the old silicone with the handy scraper and clean off the residue with the wipes. I then applied plenty of glue to where the hinges go and pressed together and taped them tight together using gaffer tape. left it to seal for 24 hours and the door is now back to its good old. and I still have plenty left in the tube too. I would definately use again if ever needed. good luck.
