GREAT Product. All you need is included in the kit and all the correct quantity to.
The two metal plates on our Hotpoint Oven came clean away from the glass on the door so high temperature sealant is needed.
I removed the plates, cleaned down the glass and used the sealant to stick them back down again. Hours later they were SOLID!

Repair: Le Creuset Pot Lid
I didn’t use the glue for an oven – I used it to repair a long crack in the lid of a much loved Le Creuset cast iron pot. I can’t say it looks very pretty, but it did the trick – the lid used to flex and the crack was creeping longer, that has now been stopped. Saved us £50 for a new lid. Very useful stuff. It was delivered quickly, well packed in a box containing everything you need.

Used it to fix grill door back together. I have had no problem with the glue and it seems to be doing its job. My only issue is whether I have been able to fix the hinges sufficiently but the glue itself is extremely good and very easy to use.

The set as a whole was very good at a reasonable price. It was nice to be able to buy a fil ‘kit’ including gloves and and a scraper.
The only problem I came across was that the amount of glue provided wasn’t enough for my job.

Product works well my only problem was it was the inner glass that fell inwards ,so I also bought a small dent puller this helped me hold the glass in place while the glue set. Glass still in place 6 months later. Great

ovendoorglue: Great tip from Steven, if the oven door is sealed a suction dent puller can be used to position the glass and hold it in place – we have been advised that some Algor oven doors have the front glued on after the inner glass has been glued in place, but most doors can have the front panel removed by taking out the screws near the handle trim.

Kit allows perfect cleaning, which is most essential for good results. A tip is to use masking or similar tape to locate the position across the door bottom, hinging down to apply the adheshive and the swing back to the correct location before appyling pressure while the adhesive sets. The completed door fitted back without any problems. Of particular note is the adhesive applicator which allows for the easy exchange from stopper to applicator nozzle, really neat!

After trying 3 types of heat resistant glue I found this put it on claned glass door and hinge leave for 24 hours and you will not be able to move it no matter how hard you tried, brilliant price brilliant product and very quick delivery nick from Derby
