| Facts as they occured. Hob Lid came un-glued 1 side Monday. Spent rest of day looking for a replacement oven (mine over 30 years old)Found a good buy but connection fee was over £80.Had the hump with this so started looking for suitable glue.Found this site, phoned for advise, Wow no call centre, English speaking, made my day. Advise was brilliant, and bought the clear pack as advised.. The pack was great, so pleased it came with disposable gloives or I think I would still be permanently attached to the oven, as I was trying to glue a surface under spring tension. Anyways package arrived following day, Glued and clamped Lid to hinge, waited 24 hrs as advised, Perfect. Can confirm this pack has more uses than just oven doors, worked 100% on glass hob lid to metal hinge. Kind Regards JohnC |

| We were pleasantly surprised by this product. The front of our oven door had come loose and because it was a Spanish make, inherited from the previous owners of our house, we were not convinced the glue would work. Indeed, we had contacted a local appliance repair operative who told us he had tried many types of oven door glue in the past and they had never worked long-term. Well, almost a year on the oven door remains firmly in place. A very cost-effective alternative to a new oven! We would recommend this product to others. |

| This has been one of my best buys!! Just follow the instructions that they provide! My recommendation is to use the cleaning tissue on all surfaces and make sure there is no residue grub left (from the old glue). The cleaner the better, the longer the joy of a great fix. It's been 4 months now and I'm still impressed. THis is the stuff you need to fix glass oven door hinges come off. Chapeau !! |

| I cannot fault this item, I bought a second kit in August (the first kit lasted about a year and a half but I don't think I cleaned it properly before application) and it is fantastic - when you consider the small price to pay and just 5 minutes to apply it, you can't not use this to fix your oven! Saved potentially £130 for a new door! |

| This product does exactly what it says and I used it to repaid my oven door by sticking a bit of metal surround back onto the glass. It was easy to use and very effective. I was also able to use it to fix the front vent on my wife's hair dryer so save the excess as you never know what you can fix with it next. Dont worry this stuff is as good as it says and fix it yourself. I saved me a potentially massive call out charge to get someone in to fix the oven |

| I used this glue to repair my hair straighteners which are set at 230 degrees. The ceramic plate had come loose but the electric wiring was still in tact. I glued the ceramic plate back in place easily, with no mess. The applicator the glue comes in is small making it easy to apply. The oven door glue has worked amazingly and saved me from having to pay out for a new pair of straighteners! I could not find any other product which would withstand high temperatures. | The recess of the bakelite door knob on my old Hunter wood burning stove had deteriorated, so knob was slipping on the knurled nut. It became impossible to lock the stove door securely. Even though the oven door glue did not specify usage for this problem, I gave the oven door glue a try since I had nothing else to lose - the manufacturer no longer made this sort of door knob for their newer stoves. I could not find any other sufficiently heat resistant adhesive. It successfully glued the bakelite doorknob back on to the door catch mechanism. So far, so good. Wonderful stuff! |

Provided the area on the stove in which the adhesive is used does not exceed 300 degrees centigrade, the adhesive will work well, bonding glass, metal and in this case bakelite. However please be aware that some parts of wood burning stoves (the firebox for example), temperatures reached can be far higher than those achieved in domestic ovens. | Bought this to attach a magnet onto a stainless steel mount that surrounds my fire after the catch broke. I tried a few regular glues but they didn't work when the heat built up. After using this glue 5 months ago the magnet is still in place yippee! Impressed with the kit you get with the glue too, all you need to get the job done! Going to try it on my straighteners next as a small piece of the plastic has broken off, wish me luck |

| I ordered the kit which was despatched very quickly.This kit was very easy to use , I used it to stick a heat reflective strip to my Smeg oven door which had slipped down.The instructions were easy to follow and after cleaning the inside section of the door applied the adhesive and stuck the new heat strip.Put the door back together and hey presto it's been O.K. ever since. |

| After ensuring the oven door was perfectly clean I applied a small bead of the adhesive around the contour of the glass. The only problem I encountered was supporting the door in position whilst the adhesive set. The purchase of a cheap sucker (the type used to pull dents in car doors) resolved the problem. An excellent result. |

| Used this product to fix inner glass door on double oven. Excellent instructions and kit. Two tubes were ample to fix 140cm (55 inch) surround. I found the scraper especially useful for cleaning the glass and shall use this on other jobs. |

| ovendoorglue: Please note that whilst the kit was primarily intended for gluing the brackets onto the glass – brackets typically glue to the glass then screw to the oven door to hold the glass in place on many ovens, we have noted that many customers are using the high strength adhesive to glue the glass directly to the door where this is the original method of fixing. The high temperature adhesive is perfectly suited to this task but the quantity supplied in a single tube may be insufficient for larger pieces of glass, we suggest larger than 1200mm circumference, (or if there is a recess to be filled). | My problem: the internal glass panel on my oven door had come unstuck from its metal frame, and needed to be glued back. I needed enough glue to put around all four edges of my glass panel. I found many solutions online, but ovendoorglue appeared by far the most professional and competent. I asked a few questions regarding my problem, and all were perfectly answered by Eddie Riddick. Advising me that I would probably need a second tube, they even suggested that I purchased it, to be refunded if I did not need it. (but of course, Eddie was right: I did need it, in the end). The package was received 2 days after payment, and contained everything I needed, including clear written instructions on how to clean, prepare, and glue the surface. This was two weeks ago, since then my oven has been used a lot, and the glass panel feels absolutely solid. All in all, my shopping experience with ovendoorglue was outstanding. | This was a eureka moment, our oven wasn't retaining temperature and the glass was grubby and unsightly. We were thinking of replacing the appliance but I found this little gem. It was pretty straight forward although it took two of us to get it in place and we wedged a child's ball between the main door and the glass to keep the pressure intact.Next day we had a clean perfectly functioning oven for a snip of the price. Highly recommended in these times of austerity. |

| The glue did exactly what it said it would on the package. As common with other ovens mentioned in reviews, the glass was trapped in between the front and the rear panels of the front loading door. We got round this problem with the use of suction pad and a little ingenuity to keep pressure on the seal after gluing. Clean well before applying glue. Voila! job done.......... |

| The glue was easy to apply and the brackets stuck to the glass without a problem. Door now back in place with the oven up and running. However, the instructions for positioning the brackets did not help because the door is only partly transparent. Where the brackets were fixed is opaque and, therefore,I had to mark the position of the brackets and hold them in place with my fingers whilst applying the glue. Not a problem I just had to adapt to fit our oven. |

I attached a aluminum strip to the inside of the handle and secured it with the Oven Door Gle kit and the handle was back in one piece and stands up to the temperature. | I'd been quoted more than £40 to replace a door seal/gasket that had come adrift. Nothing ventured, nothing gained...so I paid a tiny fraction of that to buy some of this special glue. It took 15 minutes to apply (including the preparation time) and worked a treat. Fifty or so meals later and the repair is as good as ever. Well done, Roz, on supplying a super product. | After being faced with a bill of£140 for a new oven door, I bought 2 tubes of glue (with an option to return an unused 2nd tube for a refund). The instructions were very clear, the Glue worked perfectly for sticking a new pane of glass onto the outer door of my oven door. one very happy customer!!! |

| The inside glass piece fell out of my oven door when it was being cleaned, so I needed something to stick it back in again. The cleaning and preparation was a bit tricky to do because it was on the inside, but I found the little blade thing provided was very effective for this. There was just about enough of the glue to go round the glass, and I had to slot it back in from underneath, with the door removed and wedged on two crates. So I was really relieved after the 24 hours that it had stuck (I couldn't put any pressure on it), and the door is now back on the front of the oven. It has worked a treat, all I would say is, if you have a large area to restick, you might need two tubes of the stuff. |

| The kit was fantastic and arrived next day, it had all the correct equipment and instructions to complete the job. The blade supplied to clean off the old glue from the glass was handy, I ended up using an angle grinder on the metal hinge and plate to remobe old glue and paint. All surfaces were cleaned as per instructions supplied and I used a marker pen to mark round the position. Glue was applied and then used plastic clamps to hold firm till the glue went off - I left for a full 24 hours. Just need to get it onto the oven and heat up gently to make sure all is well |

| The problem was that the glass outer part of the oven door was hanging off. Naturally I got onto the internet to find a solution - and I got it. My mate the Certificated Engineer (he'll have you know) took the whole thing apart and used the glue to reattach the glass outer. 24 hours later it was OK to use. It looks as if it might do another five years. You really need someone who is handy with the tools to get a painfree experience. |

| First about the company: Fantastic product and super quick delivery - next day. Now the product: Make sure you read the instructions well, scrapeoff the old silicone with the handy scraper and clean off the residue with the wipes. I Then applied plenty of glue to where the hinges go and pressed together and taped them tight together using gaffer tape. Left it to seal for 24 hours and the door is now back to its good old. and I still have plenty left in the tube too. I would definitely use again if ever needed. Good luck. |

| I looked everywhere for a high heat adhesive, online, B&Q, local hardware stores etc and the best i could find only went up to 150degrees. Then i found this guy. Although i was not fixing an oven door, i was bonding aluminium which needed to withstand high temperatures and a high pressure build up. The kit was very easy to use and with the syringe, it made the very fiddly bits a breeze. Excellent product! |

| my inner glass was pushed out wheile scrubbing it ( too much preasure on it ) i got this glue off ebay.. only problem i had with it was that there wasent enough to go right round.. but after applying what was in the tube it is stronger then it was when the over was new .. i dont think that glass will be out again in the ovens lifetime .. great glue. |

| I didn't use the glue for an oven - I used it to repair a long crack in the lid of a much loved Le Creuset cast iron pot. I can't say it looks very pretty, but it did the trick - the lid used to flex and the crack was creeping longer, that has now been stopped. Saved us £50 for a new lid. Very useful stuff. It was delivered quickly, well packed in a box containing everything you need. |
