ovendoorglue: We should point out that we recommend that at least 8 hours are allowed for the adhesive to cure before it is subject to any stress, and ideally 24 hours before the adhesive is exposed to heat. This is because the adhesive cures using moisture naturally present in the air, and it cures from the outside of the edge of adhesive, inwards. If the adhesive has not fully cured before applying heat, the heat will dry any moisture. Full instructions are provided in the kit.

The glass inner door of our Indesit oven had come away from the adhesive. We thought we would have to purchase a new door, but checked on-line to see if anything specialist was available before we went down that route. We found 'The Oven Door Glue Kit' at a really good price. It arrived the next day, was really easy to use & has held the door like new since applying, which was quite a few months ago. Highly recommended.

The oven door handle had broken in two places are really required replacing. Therefore, I used the reliable internet to search for said replacement. After picking myself up back off the floor upon seeing the price of £60 (half the cost of the oven!), I decided to try glueing the handle back together and refitting to the fixing lugs. This definitely didn't work using standard glues, which unsurprisingly deteriorated with heat, so I searched a little harder and found this product on Ebay. The Kit arrived promptly, and thus I set about with repair. It lasted longer than previous attempts but still wasn't a perfect solution. As a last attempt, I threw subtelty aside and glued the whole handle to the door (which is a more suitable application of the glue as advertised). This has worked perfectly ever since. Still have enough glue left over in case any other bits fall off the oven!

Great 'kit' i.e. 'everything' you need, even a scraper, Really good glue, so far so good anyway. I thought I may not have enough in one tube when I saw it, but I even had a little spare. A good tip is 'clean, clean, clean! No glue, not even one as good as this one will stick to a non clean surface! Another tip.... don't be a scrooge and use as much glue as is needed, and then some as insurance, but watch out it doesn't spill out from the sides! First class postage and packaging service too, makes this purchase 1st Class for me, and I give it a well deserved 5 stars!

This item is great. The internal glass fell out our oven door, and I was loathe to pay out for a new one...thought to myself "try ebay, you never know". Hey presto this stuff came up. its a full kit so no messing around, the little scraper does a great job and even comes with an alcohol wipe to ensure full adhesion. Oven now working like new once again!

Our internal glass panel of the oven door had dislodged from the exterior front panel. This was obviously the heat proof aspect of the oven, therefore rendering our oven un-use-able! I needed a quick fix and found this glue on Ebay. My only regret is that I did not purchase 2 or 3 more as there was a void in the areas around each edge of the glass panel because I did not have enough of the glue. To date (4 weeks since applying) my oven door is secure and there is no heat getting through to the exterior front door. I would highly recommend this product for a quick fix and if the credit crunch is pinching your pockets also. I would order more than you may require as there is not alot of the product to spare in each syringe.Would and have recommended this product to family and friends. Thanks for saving me a fortune..the wife's a bit upset that she's not getting the new oven now though.
