An excellent product at a very reasonable price - instructions were well presented. Preparation and application were easy. I found that adjustable clamps were the best way to ensure no movement between glass and door hinge mechanism whilst curing. 5 months down the line and the door is still firmly fixed.

This glue product is amazing, and worth every single penny. Before applying the glue, make sure all old glue is removed door, it is clean and dry. Furthermore, do not rush the process take your time, make sure you leave the door and glue to set for at least 48 hours before use for best results.

ovendoorglue: The time required for the adhesive to cure and obtain full strength does vary depending on the thickness of the adhesive bead used. With a standard bead we would expect the strength to be such that the item could be moved after about 8 hours, but that it would be best not to use the oven for a further 16 hours (24 hours in total). This is because the adhesive uses moisture ordinarily present in the atmosphere to cure. It cures from the outside of the bead, where the air is in contact with the adhesive, inwards. Applying heat to the adhesive, through the use of the oven, too soon, would drive any moisture away. But a total of 24 hours after applying the adhesive should be fine. There is obviously no harm in leaving longer if you want.

I ordered the kit after the glass part of the oven door was hanging off the main compartment in the oven. The instructions were easy to use, and the smell that was described in instructions whilst glue was curing wasn't as bad as I thought. The door was fixed with the glue in December 2011, and so far is still holding together.

ovendoorglue: In the instructions we do advise that there will be a vinegar smell whilst the adhesive is curing. The smell will disappear completely once the adhesive has cured, we recommend allowing 24 hours for the adhesive to cure fully before using the oven. The adhesive, once cured, is odourless and will not taint food etc.

After over 10 years of constant use my oven door began to come away from the glass. As it was in otherwise good order I did not want to replace the whole oven. I found this great website and ordered the glue kit. It was very easy to use; even for an amature like me. I repaired it in no time and it has stuck fast since. I would both recommend this website and this product. Great service with no problems.

The rubber surround on the main over door had come away. I had tried a different glue but that failed. I used this glue and it worked straight away no fuss! I also received the glue the next day so would recomend!

Such an easy product to use with easy to follow instructions.I had bought two but one was plenty to repair the loose mounting. After the 24 hour curing time the door was refitted. When the oven was used, the food tasted fine and was not tainted in anyway.

Although the old glue was hard to remove the new glue was quite straight forward to apply.Everything you need is included at a very reasonable price. Was horrified the glass door fell of and thought it would be hard to fix. Did not know where to start.I said I would look on the internet and my husband did not think I would find anything. He was amazed that 24hrs later he would be fixing the door with this great product. At the time of writing everything is fine and the glue is holding well.Such good customer service and Wow! what quick delivery. Well recommended
