| Repaired the oven door by re-bonding the inner glass to frame. During the repair I was forced (by the Bosch design) to remove some internal aluminium shrouding, so I also had to lay a thick bead of glue to re-fix the aluminium shroud to the steel door chassis. Both sets of bonds are perfect 3 months later. Two tubes of this glue saved me more than 100 pounds on a replacement double oven door. |

| ovendoorglue: Please note that whilst the kit was primarily intended for gluing the brackets onto the glass – brackets typically glue to the glass then screw to the oven door to hold the glass in place on many ovens, we have noted that many customers are using the high strength adhesive to glue the glass directly to the door where this is the original method of fixing, with a bead of adhesive around the full perimeter of the glass. The heat resistant adhesive is perfectly suited to this task as it gives a larger surface area of adhesion than is the case with brackets that are glued to the glass. However the quantity supplied in a single tube may be insufficient for larger pieces of glass, we suggest larger than 1200mm circumference, (or if there is a recess to be filled). | Very good kt for the repair. My repair would have been easier if the door was removed and laid flat but even with the door in situ and upright the bond was excellent and still remains strong. It also means the oven is more efficient now that all the heat is not escaping. |

| i had used other glues to repair my glass in oven door, and they all failed once the temperature got to 150 degrees. this one has now been on since july and temp has been up to 200degrees and working perfectly. |

| Old story - inner over door glass came detached during vogourous cleaning. After disembling found that inside the inner door panel the glass is half covered by an aluminium shield glued to door that prevents access to frame. Pulled the shield off, rebonded the glass to frame and then rebonded the aluminium shield to the inner door. Cured for 24 hours and both bonds feel rock solid. Used most of the two tubes purchased for the job. No nasty VOC smells. |

| With no response from Siemens, a dazzling array of internet glues, I typed in "oven door glue" and immediately found ovendoorglue.co.uk. I only needed the glue, but thankfully ordered the kit which arrived Next Day.. fantastic! It was the best decision I have made... The instructions were great; everything was right there in the kit.. not hidden in the garage. To ensure the fixings were correctly aligned I placed the cleats on the old glue and marked their positions with masking tape on the glass door edge. The old glue was then removed and glass cleaned [everything was supplied!]. New glue was applied and the cleats aligned with the masking tape. Each of the two cleats took thirty minutes complete. An overnight cure and the door was back on the cooker. Not only have I never given it a thought since but the unused glue was used in another successful project. If only every project had such a kit! |

| My bosch built in oven has a glass inner door which fell out during routine cleaning. searched out for new door glass or even new door, very expensive. just before I bought a new oven I googled and found that this was a common problem.found the site listing repair mastic and spoke directly to Mr Riddick who was very helpful. advised me to buy the kit and a spare tube of mastic on sale or return if not needed.it worked fantasticly.. oven glass is still secure 5 weeks and lots of use later. make sure you clean all surfaces thoroughly. preparation is the key. thank you mr Riddick for your great customer service and product. |

| I am really impressed with this product. The most difficult part was taking the oven door to pieces. Getting the old glue off and the cleaning were all easy with the tools and wipes sent with the glue. The adhesive goes on easily; I would suggest you cut the tip off the nozel (but not very far down) as this will give a better flow and a thicker strip to press the glass on to. Delivery was so fast, ordered Saturday, arrived Monday job done Monday evening and hopefully door back on tomorrow Tuesday. Thank you very much. |

| Great product - does exactly what it says and I think is an identical glue to that used during the manufacturing process. Vey simple repair to do. Anyone with basic DIY skills could complete this and save themselves a lot of money.. A few tips: 1. Before removing the old glue, refit the hinge, and place some marks around it about 50mm away so that you can locate the new hinge in exactly the same place. Use masking tape if you need to. 2. Clean the old surface with a decent cleaner - make sure it is clean or the bond may not work. 3. follow the instructions and once you have applied the glue and placed the hinge in place, very carefully tape it in place to stop it moving or getting knocked. Place the door somewhere where it is safe from prying fingers and wait for it to dry. 4. reassemble the door and refit. |

| Work a treat - Bosch said that the glass panel is bonded and did not recommend glueing it but I used this kit and it fixed the door and up to now I have used the oven several times and the glass panel is still well & truly fixed. |

| My oven had a 'lip' which the glass fitted to. I thought it would be difficult to fix. It wasn't. The Oven Door Glue worked a treat, with clear instructions. Top tips. Clean the glass thoroughly, don't skimp on the glue (getting 2 is still far cheaper than getting an engineer in) and get a weight on it while it sets. Result. |

| Glass 17in by 12in needed 2 tubes as advised. Delivery and support excellent. Cleaning kit did excellent job and glue easy to apply but need to be quick on large glass. May be benifitial to cut nozzle shorter and thus wider bead of glue. No advise of this in instructions so didn't. very impressed with whole setup. |
