Repair: Rose Countess (Abi Transtar Caravan Oven)
I used the Oven Door Glue Kit to repair the oven door handle on a Rose Countess 1993 Oven. This Common fault had been previously repaired poorly with some kind of filler that melted on 1st use. I attached a aluminum strip to the inside of the handle and secured it with the Oven Door Gle kit and the handle was back in one piece and stands up to the temperature.
Excellent product and the sale, delivery and customer care was second to none – A Big Thank You!

I used this glue to fix the inner glass back to the metal fold down door. Worked a treat and the kit it’s self was great, the knife tool proved very useful when cleaning off the old glue. Definitely a product I’d consider in the future.

This really is a first class product! I was very afraid that the glass oven- door facing would crack unless I could repair the hinge, and that would have been very very expensive to replace.
I Googled the problem, logged onto OVEN DOOR GLUE, received the product very very quickly indeed and set about the repair.
Provided care is taken in cleanliness and re-location of the hinge, it really is extremely simple. The oven has been in constant use now for some time, and the hinge is firmly fixed and working perfectly. Thanks for supplying a great product at a great price.

It’s what it says on the tin! The inner glass door fell off on my lovely treasured old Neff Oven Their engineer said new door which they no longer do! Neff said impossible to mend and I’ve have to buy a new oven! I risked my £6.99 and it was brilliant Two months later still rock hard! I can not praise this kit highly enough Thanks for saving me £1000!

My oven had a ‘lip’ which the glass fitted to. I thought it would be difficult to fix. It wasn’t. The Oven Door Glue worked a treat, with clear instructions. Top tips. Clean the glass thoroughly, don’t skimp on the glue (getting 2 is still far cheaper than getting an engineer in) and get a weight on it while it sets. Result.

ovendoorglue: The kit was initially designed for gluing the brackets onto the glass – brackets glued to the glass then screw to the oven door to hold the glass in place on many ovens. We have noted that some customers are using the high strength adhesive to fix the glass directly to the door where this is the original method of fixing. The high temperature adhesive is perfectly suited to this task but the quantity supplied in a single tube may be insufficient for larger pieces of glass, we suggest larger than 1200mm circumference, (or if there is a recess to be filled). When gluing the glass, pile a couple of heavy books on top to keep it under mild pressure for the 24 hour setting period. Other than than, just follow the instructions to the letter – brilliant product.
